Hi there! Thanks for stopping by.

Whether you’re interested in individual nutrition counseling or have an idea about a project we can collaborate on, I’m excited to meet you and work together.

But first, you might want to know a little more about me. Although I was born, raised, and educated in the United States (undergrad at Michigan State University, and dietetic internship and graduate school at Texas A&M Kingsville), I’ve lived abroad for several years: first in London, England, and now in Tokyo, Japan. Living outside my comfort zone - literally and figuratively - has helped me grow both as a practitioner and as a person. Thus, I have a special place in my heart for those navigating a new food environment - whether due to a geographical move or just due to entering a new season of life - as well as a commitment to guiding those to a place of peace when it comes to their relationship with food and feeding. While I see clients for a wide range of nutrition-related issues, areas of professional interest include weight management, pre and post-natal nutrition, eating disorders, chronic disease management and prevention, and more.

As for my approach, it won’t be for you if you’re seeking cookie-cutter meal plans or restrictive diets. Instead, I work with clients using an individualized and evidenced-based approach in order to heal their bodies and their relationship to food and eating. As an expat myself, I understand just how difficult it can be to adjust to a new food environment, and I’m passionate about helping clients from all over the world settle into Tokyo and figure out what local foods work for them.

If you’re here to work together on a nutrition project, I can’t wait to hear from you! Infusing creativity into the food and nutrition space is where my passion and skill set intersect. I love coming up with novel ideas for educating and inspiring others about my field, and I look forward to hearing your ideas for ways we can collaborate with one another.
